Masters are the “after”: tracks that were mixed and mastered here at Future Tense Music.

Mixes are well-balanced and ready to be mastered, but naturally, are quieter-sounding than masters.

Static mixes are the “before”: the raw tracks we’ve been sent, but with levels and panning set.

Note that the static and mix tracks have been level-matched for the sake of comparison. The masters are actually 2 dBs louder than the mixes.
